The Canine Club

Sandy Ln, Whirley, Macclesfield SK10 4RJ, UK – 01625 500028

I cannot say enough good things about the Canine Club. I needed to use the club for my GSP puppy while I worked and he is now so confident around other dogs of all sizes it's a pleasure to see. I moved out of the direct area at the beginning of the year, but after getting another GSP in the summer I am now travelling so the second puppy can benefit in the same way as the first (there's nothing similar I can find locally). It's also the only place I would feel comfortable leaving the dogs overnight if they can't stay with family. After a bad home boarding experience, I genuinely feel the dogs are happy here if they can't be with me :)

What a fabulous place! It took Jarvis a few visits to settle in and now he loves it! We can relax at work all day knowing he’s just having a busy time with all his mates!

Wright & Morten Veterinary Surgeons

38 Cumberland St, Macclesfield SK10 1BZ, UK – 01625 501500

Wright & Morten looked after our dog really, really well. They are not only good in what they do but they are lovingly looking after your pet and will be going out of their way to make sure the best service is provided. If it is standard check-ups for your super-nervous dog or a blood test for an (unfounded) scare, they are there for you. In our case, this extended (sadly) till the very, very end: I was scared when it came to taking the hard decision to put our 17-year-old dog to sleep but it was greatly helped by the empathy and care they afforded us. She couldn't have had a better step into the great rabbit-chasing grounds in the clouds. We will always be so very thankful to them!

Great vets, we have 4 Border Collies and are looked after brilliantly and everyone who works there are so friendly making your pets feel at ease. Thanks for all you have done for us over the years.

Bond Street Veterinary Clinic

1 Ryle's Park Rd, Macclesfield SK11 8AH, UK – 01625 425637

Our elderly cattle dog recently needed a pretty risky and complicated operation, which Pauline and the team pulled off without a hitch, and were absolutely amazing at supporting us and looking after our dog. A truly personal service. It was clear they really cared! Really honestly impressed. 6 stars if I could.

Pauline and Jon are fantastic vets. Recommend them to everyone. Thorough, caring and very knowledgeable but prepared to refer when needed. Lovely reception and nursing staff too. Just wish they still did out of hours themselves and would change the floor to one less slippery for older dogs. Great practice.

Pets at Home Macclesfield

Unit 3 Lyme Green Retail Park, Brunel Road, Macclesfield SK11 0TB, UK – 0345 850 9635

Great place to get pet supplies. Is well staffed and plenty of choice. You can take your furry little companion in with you. A great place to take the kids, they do petting days for free, so worth checking out.

Having a few pets most of my wage goes here, good selection and friendly staff, surprisingly wide variety of fish.
