Freedom Boats Ltd

109 Brook St, Macclesfield SK11 7AW, UK – 01625 420042

So I hired this boat for my parents golden wedding anniversary. Absolutely brilliant. Boat immaculate with all mod cons. Great fun and a lovely day out. Can't wait until next year. Thank you.

Seems a great place after calling today to do some gas work there. Given a friendly warm welcome

Boat Trips & Excursions - if available

East Cheshire Sub-Aqua Club

Lower Bank St, Macclesfield SK11 7HL, UK – 01625 502367

ECSAC is a fantastic dive club. I joined five months ago as a qualified diver from another agency and have been made to feel very welcome. The club is very active, both diving and socially, has excellent facilities and is well run. I would strongly recommend popping down on a Thursday evening to see for yourself; you will be impressed!

Excellent diving club. Sue and I have been members for 45 years. Seen loads of changes. If you want to learn to dive and be in safe hands East Cheshire Sub-Aqua Club is the one for you. High quality training and modern equipment. Family friendly so bring along youngsters to join in the snorkelling group.

Local Parks & Gardens

South Park

Park Vale Rd, Macclesfield SK11 8AD, UK – 01625 383786

We are so blessed to have such beautiful parks in Macclesfield. South park is good for kids as has fab playground facilities, swings climbing, frames, tennis courts ping pong tables, skate park football, basket ball court, duck pond etc. Its also great for the odd strole or dog walking. It has miniature golf course, band stand, bowling green with beautiful flower beds and plenty of trees and it's all on our doorstep 😊

A WONDERFUL PLACE TO VISIT ALONE OR WITH FRIENDS OR FAMILY, WITH STUNNING VEIWS AND SPACE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY ALL THE PARK AND GARDEN HAS TO OFFER!!!

West Park

Prestbury Rd, Macclesfield SK10 3BJ, UK – 01625 421300

Great for kids, fenced in play area but only a low fence, defeats the object if someone to pick a child up over it! Plenty of open grass area for a picnic and for children to run about. Nice cafe, helpful staff.

A great park. Lots to play on from toddlers to teenagers. On busy days the police often pop by, which keeps the smack heads away. For the most part. Which is nice.

Victoria Park

8 Norton St, Macclesfield SK10 1GA, UK

Good to have a walk through the park on a nice hot sunny day

Great for dogs, you can play football there as well. Also there is a children’s play area(swings)

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Marton or Cheshire. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
Gawsworth Hall

Church Ln, Gawsworth, Macclesfield SK11 9RN, UK – 01260 223456

What a fantastic place for an outdoor gig in the summer time especially in the evening. Richard Thompson was his standard brilliant best in a gorgeous setting, green and fresh after an late afternoon shower which had the beautiful gardens dazzling in the evening sun. Really friendly staff, high class facilities and to top it all off, a flying display with very serious aerobatics from the local bats as we drove away from the very well drilled car parking. A superb evening in every aspect. A place once discovered, you will return to. Highly recommended.

This was a great venue for a family get together. We spent the afternoon relaxing and having a picnic. Then we had a tour of the beautiful historical Tudor House before settling in to the "ABBA" concert in the grounds. It was a thoroughly enjoyable fun-filled evening spent dancing and singing along. Thanks everyone 😊
